I just put gas in my 2014 pathfinder, I had a quarter of a tank left and it cost me 80 $cnd to fill it up.

Gas is about the same price here in Abitibi

Maybe you could just do a plastic heat shirink wrap the entire car except the wheels and a little hole in the grill? Hmmmmm.... E-Type as an example.

Ha! Welcome to Europe where people actually use Golfs diesels and the like to tow caravans. And do it (usually) safely and legally. Note that trailers are designed differently (tongue weight) and that while towing you by definition are restricted to a speed limit of 80-100 kmh, depending on country. Point being, the picture above is normal. In Europe.

Kinja'd!!! GenuineAlexReid - The Reidus > duurtlang
01/18/2017 at 18:06

Kinja'd!!!1

I can understand that it’s normal, but a Golf isn’t going to be able to haul engines around while also carrying a trailer and a car on the back. I also don’t need a caravan when I can sleep in the back ;)

Heh, it would be funnier if it wasn’t an overestimation.

I learned to drive a stick on my dad’s ‘85 GMC 2500, which may have had the same 350v8 and 2bbl carb? It had a 3-spd and a 4.10 diff and factory dual fuel tanks!

€85.69 for 117.46 liters, so €0.729 a liter. Or about half of what it costs in Western Europe. I don’t know what this is in your legacy units.

Kinja'd!!!0

Shit I forgot, that’s when it was about 1.50 Cnd a liter

And I think it came up to 4 to 4.50 us a gallon

Is gas always more expensive right before Christmas and during the middle of summer in the states too?

Kinja'd!!! shop-teacher > Wacko
01/18/2017 at 21:43

Yeah, demand spikes then because people are traveling, so the price goes up here too.
